Trimming & cutting

Turn supplier packs into cut sizes and move the output, along with by-products, into stock.

Register packs and orders

Register the supplier packs of raw material you have on hand, then create a cutting order for the sizes you need, assigned to a saw.

  1. Add a supplier pack with its dimensions and volume.
  2. Create a cutting order, pick the saw, and reserve packs for it.
  3. Log each cutting result as the saw produces sizes.

Move output to warehouse

When an order is cut, move it to a warehouse. An outputs form opens listing the cut sizes plus suggested by-products: sawdust (pre-filled from the saw-loss percentage), firewood offcuts, and bark, each editable before you post.

Posting adds the output to stock for review, inherits the heat-treated mark from the source material, and returns any leftover raw material to the order's source warehouse.
